Beautiful building. A haven to return to after trips to the gruelling S21museum and the killing fields. the young staff are really lovely and are so eager to please. The swimming pool is a big bonus in this busy dusty city. About 20 minutes walk to the riverside promenade and close to Royal palace and silver pagoda. Breakfast healthy and plentiful in adjoining trendy cafe.

I've stayed in a lot of nice hotels but this was by far the best! The rooms are clean and modern looking, with a selection of free soft drinks. The breakfast in Le Cafe is lovely and the pool is a perfect place to relax away from the craziness of Phnom Penh. The best thing about this hotel is the staff who were incredible, my friend and I were supposed to be crossing the border into Vietnam but couldn't get our visas processed in time so were lost as to what to do. We mentioned it to the staff in passing and 30 minutes later we got a call to our room because the staff had done some research and told us what options we had. Was so nice of them! In the end we were so happy there that we booked another night. I would go back to Phnom Penh just to stay here!

The building being the former residence of the US ambassador Impressive and high class standard
A little bit too expensive for the value for money balance

Perfect location to visit main tourist attractions in walking distance. Newly opened hotel (Jan 2012) in a former ambassador residence. 25m pool open until 10pm was great to relax after having visited the city. Very friendly and customer oriented staff. Hotel is run by French - hence great French croissant and pain chocolate for breakfast combined with perfecty made Italian coffee. We enjoyed this start of the day prior to dive into Khmer cuisine afterwards. Very stylish atmosphere. We can recommend this hotel!
